We invite you to the opening night of the DJAM Collective photography exhibition, which will take place on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Poleczki.art gallery.

The exhibition will be on view until Sunday, December 1, 2024.

“PERSEPHONE'S EMBRACE”

This exhibition, created by the female visual artists of the DJAM Collective, is a symbolic exploration of the relationship between mother and daughter. The intertwining of tender and painful ties is reflected in the ancient Greek myth of Kore-Persephone. However, the project primarily tells the story of the innate courage of women, the dual nature of youth and maturity, and the bonds between generations. It also reveals that these ties must sometimes be broken in the name of independence and personal experience.
